Depart the cruise pier with your awaiting, 32-foot (about 9.7-metre) glass-bottom boat with a glass-viewing panel measuring 9.8 feet x 2.62 feet (about 2.9 metres x 0.8 metres) and a sunroof. The viewing window is large enough for everyone to observe the reef simultaneously, and the viewing area has shadows from the hardtop roof for optimum visibility. After embarking your vessel and receiving your safety and tour instructions, begin your scenic and relaxing, approximately 1.5-hour cruise to the magnificent Bonaire National Marine Park, one of the oldest marine reserves in the world.

Established in 1979, the Bonaire National Marine Park spans approximately 6,700 acres (about 2,700 hectares), and includes a coral reef, seagrass, and mangrove vegetation. Upon arrival at the Bonaire National Marine Park, sit back and relax in comfort whilst observing this amazing undersea world through the panoramic viewing panel. Along the way, marvel at diverse colonies of beautiful coral beds and abundant and colourful reef fish, including parrotfish, damsel fish, butterfly fish, and angel fish, along with sea fans, stingrays, turtles, and other marine life.

Next, drift over the protected reefs at Klein Bonaire and pass by the pristine coastline of this uninhabited island. Afterward, a short ride brings you back to the cruise ship pier, with beautiful views of Kralendijk and its colourful houses en route. Upon arrival at the boat dock, disembark your glass-bottom boat and commence the short walk back to the pier.

Please note: This tour involves a moderate amount of walking for approximately 50 yards (about 46 metres), with four-eight steps to negotiate to embark/disembark the glass-bottomed boat. This tour is not suitable for guests prone to seasickness, guests with limited mobility, and guests who utilise a wheelchair.
