Depart the pier for the scenic, approximately 30-minute drive to a private venue for an introduction to Brazilian cuisine and culture. Upon arrival, meet your chef and begin your interactive Brazilian cooking class. First, help to prepare a traditional caipirinha welcome drink and two types of Brazilian snacks.

Interactive Cooking Class, Local Specialities, Picanha Steak

After enjoying your welcome drink and snacks, participate in the preparation of local specialities, including toasted banana farofa, Picanha steak, white garlic rice, and more. Along the way, learn about the exotic ingredients, techniques, and seasonings utilised to create authentic Brazilian fare.

Lunch with Caipirinha Drinks

Following your cooking class, proceed to the dining area for lunch consisting of the delicious meal you have helped to prepare with Caipirinha drinks. At the conclusion of your tour, re-board your coach and commence the approximately 40-minute drive back to the pier.

Please note: This tour involves a minimal amount of walking, at times over uneven surfaces, with a few steps to negotiate to get on/off the coach and 10 steps at the cooking class venue. This tour is not suitable for guests with limited mobility and guests who utilise a wheelchair. Guests are advised to wear lightweight, comfortable clothing with flat, closed-toe walking shoes, and bring sun protection, bottled water, and local currency or credit cards for purchases from the ship. Guests with long hair must tie it up to participate on this tour. Guests must be at least 18 years old to be served alcoholic beverages. Cooking utensils are provided. This tour is available during mornings only. The tour sequence may vary. Coocking class may not be exclusive to Silversea guests.
