Maranguape and Cachaça Museum
Depart the pier for the scenic, approximately one-hour drive to the Cachaça Museum, located in the charming city of Maranguape. Upon arrival, take a guided walking tour of the museum. Along the way, learn about the history of sugar cane alcohol, brought to the county by the Teles family of Portugal. After the visit at the Cachaça Museum, you will transfer by tractor to the farm to see part of their sugar canes and other fruits plantations.
Sugar Cane Alcohol Tasting
Following your guided tour, proceed for a tasting of sugar cane alcohol. Afterward, some free time is made available for independent exploration. At the conclusion of your visit, re-board your coach and commence the approximately one-hour drive back to the pier.
