Nestled in the charming fishing village of St Mawes, reached by a 30 minute ferry ride, this hands-on workshop invites you to craft your own authentic Cornish pasty, guided by a member of the Curtis family who has proudly run St Mawes bakery for over four generations and more than 100 years. Discover the traditional techniques behind Cornwall's most iconic dish, from mixing and crimping the dough to filling it with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Along the way, you'll uncover the fascinating stories behind the pasty's unique shape and its deep roots in Cornish Culture. Whilst your pasty bakes to golden perfection, enjoy an optional guided walk around the scenic harbour with its breathtaking coastal views and maritime charm before returning to the bakery to collect your warm, handmade creation, just in time for the relaxing ferry ride back to Falmouth.
