Excursion E-bike orientation tour of la palma tour at Santa Cruz De La Palma

Depart from the port towards Santa Cruz, see the local market from outside, and visit some of the most iconic historical attractions such as the Spain square, El Salvador church, the town hall, and the balcony houses of the city. Get back to the bicycle and continue towards Las Nieves Church for a visit. The road to cycle will shows how amazing the island is by projecting the different contrasts while being surrounded by green trees, mountains, and sea at the same time.

The next stop will be the La Concepción viewpoint, where a view of the entire city of Santa Cruz will be under your feet. We ride through Breña Alta and visit the emblematic Parque de los Álamos staying for a short break. After a 15-minute ride we pass by the legendary twin dragon trees, which are the oldest dragon trees of La Palma that reach a total height of about 15 meters. They are considered twin trees because their treetops are entangled. It is said, that long ago two brothers loved the same girl. As she could not decide, the two brothers fought each other. They both died in the fight and the girl swore to never belong to anyone but to the memories of the two brothers. So, she decided to plant two dragon trees at the place of the fight, where she would water them with her pitcher as she felt the same love and compassion for both ensuring that the memory of the two brothers would last forever.

Before ending the trip, stop at the Breña mountain viewpoint from where we will return to Santa Cruz de La Palma and then back to the ship.

Please note: This tour involves an extensive amount of activity (28 km by e-bike) sometimes with inclines and is not suitable for guests with limited mobility and guests who utilize a wheelchair. (Height permitted is minimum 162 cm up to max 205 cm, Weight restriction is 110 kg). We suggest wearing comfortable clothing and closed toes walking shoes as well as sun protection. Guests must be at least 14 years old to participate to the tour. Portions of the ride are on roads with cars. This tour is extremely limited please book early to avoid disappointment.
