Board your coach and head to the José de Alencar Theatre. Upon arrival, take a guided stroll inside this Art Nouveau-style building, which officially opened in 1910 and includes a lovely garden adjacent to the theatre.

Dragão do Mar Cultural Centre, Museum of Photography

Continue to the Dragão do Mar Cultural Centre, a must-see during your visit to Fortaleza. Upon arrival, take a guided walking tour of this lovely, expansive building, which includes facilities for exhibitions, a theatre, library, cinema, and planetarium.

Visit the Museum of Photography of Fortaleza, located in a modern building and featuring interesting exhibitions.

At the conclusion of your visit, re-board your coach and commence the approximately 30-minute drive back to the pier.

Please note: This tour involves a moderate amount of walking for approximately 500metres at times over uneven surfaces, with a few steps to negotiate to get on/off the coach, and up to 60 combined steps at the Cathedral, Tourism Centre, José de Alencar Theatre, and the Dragão do Mar Cultural Centre. This tour is not suitable for guests with limited mobility and guests who utilise a wheelchair. Guests are advised to wear lightweight, comfortable clothing with flat, closed-toe walking shoes, and bring sun protection, bottled water, and US Dollars, local currency, or credit cards for purchases. Proper attire is required to enter St. Joseph’s Cathedral; shorts and bare shoulders are not permitted. Guests must be at least five years old to participate on this tour. This tour operates during mornings only. Expect very warm weather. The Jose de Alencar Theatre is closed on Sundays. The tour sequence may vary.
