Begin your journey with a short drive to the tiny village of Ainhoa, for centuries a stop for pilgrims on the Santiago de Compostela. As you make your away along its main street, watch for the owners’ names and construction dates engraved above the doorways.

Continue to Espelette village, famous for its red peppers. This little charming village, situated in the in the center of the Basque countryside and mountains, is also home to the Antton Chocolate house, nestled in a traditional red-timbered house. Learn about the history of chocolate, see the production and taste some of these fine chocolates.
