Excursion Private wine tasting & helicopter ride in casablanca valley tour at Valparaiso

Loma Larga Vineyard is being recognized as a leader in the production in Chile of red wines of cold climate. The wine is produced in limited quantities for which the best barracks of the vineyard are selected by making a very fine handling, producing a limited amount of tons per hectare with the purpose of achieving a great concentration and a good phenolic ripening in the cold area of the Casablanca valley.

You will be welcome at the guest house by the resident sommelier, starting a walking visit to winery and underground barrel cellar. The guide will explain winemaking and ageing processes, including a very special tasting: barrel sample of one random wine at the cellar. Finally, sitting comfortably you will enjoy a guided tasting of five wines: Chardonnay, Malbec, Cabernet Franc, Red Blend Rapsodia and our exclusive Sparkling wine traditional method made from Cabernet Franc grapes.

After the tour and tasting, our helicopter will lift you to enjoy the most spectacular views: patchwork vineyards, the coastal range and an extended bird's eye tour of the wonderful Casablanca Valley. The helicopter will drop you back in the vineyard to continue to the pier by vehicle.

Please note: Guests must be able to manoeuvre in and out of a helicopter with little assistance. Flying time is approximately 20 minutes. Operation of this tour is weather dependent and it may be cancelled on short notice. Wear lightweight clothing and bringing sun protection, including sun glasses. Bring your camera and/or binoculars from your suite.
