Cruise line: Silversea
Difficulty:

Immerse yourself in the magic of Outlander as you explore some of Scotland’s most iconic filming locations that brought the beloved series to life. This journey invites fans to walk in the footsteps of Claire and Jamie Fraser while discovering the charm and history of Scotland’s breathtaking landscapes.

Midhope Castle (Lallybroch)
Begin with a scenic drive to Midhope Castle, the instantly recognisable setting for Lallybroch, Jamie Fraser’s family home. While the interior is closed to visitors, enjoy a 40-minute photo stop to capture the spirit of this iconic location.

Falkland (Inverness)
Continue to the picturesque village of Falkland, which doubled as 1940s Inverness in season one. Here, enjoy a 45-minute town walk with photo opportunities at familiar spots such as Campbell’s Coffee Shop and the fountain where Frank glimpses Jamie’s ghostly figure.

Lunch at The Covenanter Hotel (Mrs Baird’s B&B)
Savour a light lunch followed by tea and coffee with traditional cakes at the hotel featured as Mrs Baird’s B&B in the series.

Culross (Cranesmuir)
After lunch, travel to Culross, the beautifully preserved town transformed into Cranesmuir. Spend 90 minutes wandering its cobbled streets and visiting filming sites including Geillis Duncan’s house, the old Mercat Cross, and Culross Palace’s vibrant exterior. Culross offers one of the most authentic glimpses into 18th-century Scotland.

As the day draws to a close, relax on the drive back to port, taking in the stunning Scottish landscapes that inspired the series.
