Sightseeing Drive

Depart the pier in Sydney for an orientation drive through the city. Your tour commences with a visit to the Sydney Opera House, officially opened by Queen Elizabeth II on October 20, 1973, and one of Sydney's most famous landmarks. You will stop there for a walk of the Sydney Opera House Forecourt - one of the world's most spectacular views set below the famous white sails and the granite Monumental Steps.

The Rocks

Travel through Sydney's oldest village, The Rocks. This historic enclave is nestled in the shadow of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and depicts the heritage of two centuries along its narrow twisting streets. See a splendid mix of Victorian-era buildings alongside modern-day structures. During your drive through the city centre, your guide points out the magnificent Sydney Tower.

Sydney Harbour

The coach continues east of the city to the most sought-after residential areas in Sydney. From Darling Point to Watson's Bay, the shoreline is fringed by vast mansions and expensive apartments overlooking a flotilla of yachts and cruising boats moored along the harbour's edge. Stop briefly to take in the spectacular views at The Gap at Watson's Bay (weather permitting), the southern head of the entrance to Sydney Harbour.

Bondi Beach

Carry on to Bondi Beach, a world-renowned surfing haven featuring delightful cafés and restaurants along its main streets. Disembark the coach for approximately one hour at leisure to take some photos, stroll along the famous promenade, enjoy a coffee at one of the many cafés (own expense). Admire the views as you head down the narrow streets of Paddington, which are lined with picturesque terraces framed with iron-laced balconies, sandstone houses, designer boutiques, art galleries, and cafés.

At the conclusion of your visit, re-board your coach and commence the approximately one-hour transfer to Sydney Airport for your flight home.

Please note: This tour is available to disembarking guests with flights departing Sydney International Airport after 4:00p.m. Guests must claim and clear their bags through Customs at the pier. Luggage will then accompany guests on the coach. This tour involves a moderate amount of walking, at times over natural and sandy surfaces, with few steps to negotiate to get on/off the coach. Walking at Bondi Beach is at the discretion of each guest. This tour is suitable for guests with limited mobility, but it is not wheelchair accessible. Lightweight, comfortable clothing with flat, closed-toe walking shoes and sun protection are recommended. Due to Australian occupational health and safety regulations, drivers are unable to lift more than 33 pounds (about 15 kilograms), but generally, all are helpful. There are no porters at the airport; guests will have to independently manage luggage from the coach drop-off area to flight check-in.
