Aneityum’s Mainland, Anelcauhat white-sand beach
Depart from the pier on Mystery Island and set off on a short 15-minute boat ride across crystalline water to Aneityum’s mainland. Upon landing on the white-sand beach of Anelcauhat, meet your local guide and begin an unhurried introduction to the island’s history and daily life.
Start your hike through fragrant pine and tropical woodland, following gently rising trails that open to panoramic vistas of the settlement, Mystery Island, and your ship at anchor. As you walk, listen for birdsong and breathe in the fresh island air while your guide shares stories of the land and its people.
“Plant a Memory” activity
At a scenic hilltop, take part in a meaningful “Plant a Memory” activity before returning to the shore, where a cool fresh coconut drink awaits. Reboard the boat for the 15-minute ride back to the pier on Mystery Island, bringing your island-to-island adventure to a close.
