Excursion Anse major and bay ternay marine park (for in-transit guests only) tour at Mahe Island

Your full-day excursion begins with a transfer to Bel Ombre, enjoy a guided 90-minute walk along the rocky coastline of north-west Mahe that leads to the small, secluded beach of Anse Major. Much of this trail lies between the boundaries of Morne Seychellois National Park, with spectacular rock slopes a native vegetation typical of the drier areas of Mahe.

From Anse Major beach, board a catamaran and enjoy a scenic cruise to Bay Ternay Marine Park to enjoy some snorkeling and swimming at undisturbed sites before continuing to lunch, which is served ashore in the island. After lunch enjoy a cultural performance, explore the island, and relax on the beach or swim in the warm turquoise waters. After this delightful day, re-board local busses and return to port.

Please note: This tour is available to in-transit guests continuing on to the following cruise. This tour involves a moderate amount of walking, at times over uneven, unpaved surfaces and inclines, with a few steps to negotiate to embark/disembark the catamaran and coaches. This tour is recommended for guests in good physical condition, and not suitable for guests prone to motion sickness or guests with limited mobility. A swimsuit under a cover-up with beach or water shoes, sun protection, a towel and bottled water are recommended. Snorkeling equipment is provided. Waterproof cameras are highly recommended. Although frequently encountered on this type of tour, marine life sightings are not guaranteed.
