Experience Tonga's natural wonders, island cuisine, and South Pacific culture on a four-hour combination tour that includes the Houma Blowholes and a beachside meal with live entertainment at Tonga National Center (Liku’alofa).
Start your shore excursion with a bus transfer across Tongatapu to the island's south shore to witness the natural phenomena of the Houma Blowholes. Watch as Pacific Ocean swells rush through hundreds of natural vents in the coastline's solid coral rock, called the Mapu 'a Vaea (Chief's Whistles), and plume water upwards of 60 feet in the air. .
A group of islanders decked out in traditional dress will delight you with a captivating floorshow of Tongan song and dancing. Atop at the stone vaults of King George Tupou I and other local notables at the Royal tombs and then admire the kauri wooden facade of the mid-19th-century Royal Palace, official home of Tonga's royal family. Where the royal family has lived since 1864.
Conclude your tour with a short bus transfer back to the pier.
