Excursion Bicycling adventure to montmorency falls tour at Quebec City

Peddle through one of the more picturesque parts of Québec during this half-day adventure to Montmorency Falls.

Meet your cycling guide and proceed to the cycle shop, where you are fitted with a bicycle, helmet, and bottle of water. Following a brief safety demonstration, head out with your guide and begin the 15.5 mile (25-kilometre), bike ride to Montmorency Falls.

Bicycling

Pedal past the Québec Yacht Harbour and the Industrial Grain Elevators before crossing the St. Charles River to Domaine Maizerets, a historic site and vast landscape garden located on one of New France's first concessions. After a brief stop for photos and water, the cycle path continues on a parallel course along the St. Lawrence River, offering spectacular views of the skyline of Québec and the Île d'Orléans.

Montmorency Falls

Upon arrival at Montmorency Falls, board an aerial tram for the ride to the summit of the mountain. Here, breath-taking views await as you admire the powerful forces of nature, the water of the Montmorency River roaring down the 272-foot (82-metre) cliff to eventually meet with the St. Lawrence River.

Return to the cycle path and ride for back towards the ship, re-tracing your route.

Please note: This tour involves a bicycle ride of approximately 15.5 miles (25 kilometres) over flat even roads and bicycle paths. This tour is recommended only for physically fit guests who are used to cycling for a long distance. It is not suitable for guest with limited mobility, heart or breathing problems, or those who cannot pedal a bicycle for long periods of time. Guest must sign a waiver to participate.  Bring water from the ship.  As this tour operates in most weather conditions, we suggest you dress in layers and bring rain gear.
