Your island explorations begin with a highly scenic spin by open-air safari bus along Skyline Drive and up to a visit at Drake’s Seat, a landmark spot with questionable historic roots but truly sensational views. Witness breathtaking down-island panoramas of Charlotte Amalie Harbour, the Caribbean Sea, and heart-shaped Magens Bay, with St. John, Jost Van Dyke, and several other British Virgin Islands on the horizon. Returning to sea level, you’ll arrive at Magens Bay Beach for your two-hour stint of sunning and water-appreciation along this legendary stretch of sugar-white shoreline.

The drive from tranquil Magens Bay to bustling Downtown Charlotte Amalie takes only about 15 minutes, but the two are oceans apart in tempo. Celebrate the difference with some 90 minutes to graze a parade of duty-free boutiques for items you simply can’t resist. This town is well known for its myriad duty-free clothing, perfume, spirits, and other offerings. Having indulged yourself wisely, gather your parcels and hop onto your prearranged transport for the quick spin back to the pier.

Wear comfortable walking shoes and bring your preferred sun protection, along with swimwear, towel, and change of clothes for beach segment. Food and beverages can be purchased at guests’ discretion at Magens Bay and Downtown. The order of sights and activities may vary.
