Each year, the waters of the Sea of Cortez host thousands of whales during their annual migration towards the warmer tides. Among the species that may be seen spouting and breaching include California grey whales, finbacks, humpbacks and the mighty blue whales, the largest mammals on earth. Whale-watching is a favourite pastime in this locale; keep your cameras poised. The Cousteau Society has done some of its best filmmaking in these waters.

After receiving a safety briefing by your guide, depart the pier aboard a comfortable motorised catamaran for a coastal cruise along the Sea of Cortéz and Pacific Coast. En route, take in breathtaking landscapes, pristine beaches, secluded coves and the famous arch at Land's End, along with the spectacular golf resorts and residential developments. Your coastal whale-watching cruise concludes back at the pier.

Please note: This tour involves a minimal amount of walking, and is suitable for all guests able to board the boat with minimal assistance. Guests are advised to wear lightweight clothing, comfortable soft-soled shoes, and sun protection. Refreshments and snacks are served on board the boat. The typical season for whale sightings runs from December through March. Although whale sightings are common during this time of the year, they are not guaranteed.
