Ebre Delta Natural Park, Món Natura Delta Centre, Diverse Birdlife and Flora Species
Upon arrival at the Ebre Delta, head to the Món Natura Delta Centre, located in the amazing Ebre Delta Natural Park. With a surface area of approximately 123 square miles (318 square kilometres), the Món Natura Delta Centre hosts the largest aquatic habitat in Catalonia, with over 400 species of birds and 764 species of flora. This centre is designed to help you understand, and experience, the natural diversity, traditions, and magic of the Ebre Delta.

Visit the salt flatlands, recreated to scale in terms of their appearance and salt production. Salt and rice have been very important products for the local economy. Stop by a scenic viewpoint for stunning, 360-degree vistas of your surrounds, including families of flamingos and other birdlife, the old salt flatlands, and lagoon. In addition, see the jetty area, and observe the traditional art of fishing by using nets and trammels for catching fish, eel, and shrimp.
Boat-Ride, Musclarium, Mussel Farm, Aquaculturist, Mussel Cultivation, Seafood Lunch
Next, embark a boat for a unique experience, a visit to a mussel farm named the Musclarium, located in this middle of the sea. Upon arrival, an expert aquaculturist explains the cultivation of mussels. Afterward, enjoy a lunch consisting of mussels, oysters, fish, and shellfish from the local bay, along with locally-sourced specialities. After lunch, return to the docking area, disembark your vessel, and re-board your coach for the approximately 1.75-hour drive back to the pier.
