Excursion Explore victoria and st. anne marine park (for in-transit guests only) tour at Mahe Island

Explore one of the world's smallest capitals Victoria and embrace the natural splendor of the Seychelles during this outing with a visit to St. Anne Marine National Park.

Your full-day excursion begins with a visit to Botanical Garden located at the southern edge of Victoria. The gardens are protected from development by their status as a national monument. Your guide shows you a remarkable variety of rare and colorful plants, including the endemic coco de mar, as well as giant land tortoises and fruit bats. After your visit explore Victoria by food on your way to the small marina where you will board for your catamaran-cruise to St. Anne Marine National Park.

After a short scenic cruise where your guide points out the sights in the marine park, arrive at St. Anne Marine National Park and enjoy some swimming and snorkeling before a Creole lunch buffet is served onboard your catamaran. After lunch, the catamaran will reposition close to Moyenne Island. Your afternoon on Moyenne Island includes time to explore the island, relax on the beach or swim in the warm turquoise waters. After this delightful day, re-board the catamaran for the sail back to the port.

This tour involves a moderate amount of walking, at times over uneven, unpaved surfaces and inclines, with a few steps to negotiate to embark/disembark the catamaran and coaches. This tour is recommended for guests in good physical condition, and not suitable for guests prone to motion sickness or guests with limited mobility. A swimsuit under a cover-up with beach or water shoes, sun protection, a towel and bottled water are recommended. Snorkeling equipment is provided. Waterproof cameras are highly recommended. Although frequently encountered on this type of tour, marine life sightings are not guaranteed.
