Drive from Palamós, Winery, Wine Cellar, Wine and Olive Oil Tastings

Depart the pier for the scenic, approximately 30-minute drive to Finca Bell Lloc, a unique country house and winery. Designed by the Pritzker-awarded architect firm RCB, the wine cellar is an underground space integrated into the landscape. It is hidden below the vineyard, giving this cellar a special, mysterious essence. Upon arrival, take a guided tour of the winery and cellar. During your cellar visit, learn about the vineyard, cellars, and wines produced here during the signature wine and olive oil tasting, which includes three wines, local olive oil, cold cuts, and cheese.

Catalan Lunch with Wine, Farm-Raised and Locally-Sourced Ingredients

Your introduction to Bell Lloc’s excellent wines produced here continues with a seasonal lunch created by the local chef, Ángel, who offers traditional menus of Catalan cuisine with ingredients earmarked by the 'Girona' seal of quality. The ingredients are fresh, with most of them obtained directly from the vegetable garden and farmyard, where they raise chickens, sheep, goats and Iberian pigs (fed mainly with acorns). The fish is brought in directly from the port of Palamós and is among the featured products here. Depending on the seasons, the local delicacies served may include Majorcan sausage, a fresh garden salad, homemade croquettes, grilled seabass, and local cheese served with the winery’s homemade honey. The beautiful surrounds and local cuisine complement their wines perfectly and are a wonderful introduction to their products. After lunch, re-board your coach and commence the approximately 30-minute drive back to the pier.

Please note: This tour involves an extensive amount of walking for approximately 1.24 miles (about two kilometres), at times over uneven and natural surfaces and inclines, with a few steps to negotiate to get on/off the coach and access the cellar. This tour is not suitable for guests with limited mobility and guests who utilise a wheelchair.
