Excursion Halifax by hop-on hop-off tour at Halifax

Enjoy the Halifax Hop-On Hop-Off experience which includes a 90-minute loop tour with many different stops around the city and takes place aboard a vintage double-decker bus - a truly unique way to see this pretty town.

Buses leave the pier at approximately every fifteen to thirty minutes continuously during the day. Onboard guides point out various sites along the way and maps are provided so you may decide on what you want to see and visit, and indicate where you may hop on and hop off. Upper level seating provides a bird's eye view of this modern and cosmopolitan city. You will be given a brochure with a detailed map to help you plan your day with ease and accuracy.

Hop-On Hop-Off by Double Decker Halifax is easy and fun to use. The 90-minute round trip route begins at the cruise terminal where you board the bus and enjoy the ride until you reach a part of the city you would like to see in more detail. Hop off and explore at your leisure before re-boarding and continuing on with the tour.

Please note: This tour is not exclusive to Silversea Guests and it involves a minimal to moderate amount of walking which is at the discretion of each guest. It is not recommended for guests who utilise a wheelchair. Warm, layered clothing and closed-toe walking shoes are recommended. Entrance fees to local museums are not included. This tour can be purchased on-board with our Shore Concierge Team as well as last minute shore side on the day of our visit in Halifax. Guests can sign up directly at the Hop-On Hop-Off bus counter by presenting their ship card and the charge will be automatically applied on their on-board account. Antique double decker buses do not have washrooms or air conditioning.
