Excursion Hvanneyrarskál valley hike tour at siglufjordur
Cruise line: SilverseaDifficulty:
This hiking tour leaves from the center of Siglufjörður, a picturesque town that got its fame from being “the place” to be in the 20th century during the great herring days of Iceland when it became one of its largest towns. Venture up to Hvanneyrarskál Valley which offers wonderful views into town and across the fjord and even though the trip has an elevation gain of about 200 meters (650 ft) and is about 5 km return (3 miles) the pace will be slow with a lot of stops on the way.
