We will start with a short walk to the Jaco Falls. This is a very well-maintained path excellent for those who do not want to do any heavy hiking. At the Jaco Falls you can take a dip in the waterfall pool in a very pristine and beautiful surrounding.

Next, re-board your coach and head to Mero Beach, Dominica's iconic, volcanic-sand beach. Upon arrival, some free time is made available to relax and unwind amidst your idyllic surrounds, take a leisurely stroll on the beach, and/or swim in the warm, inviting, crystal-clear waters of the Caribbean Sea. Enjoy a refreshing rum punch or fruit juice to complete a true Dominican experience. At the conclusion of your visit, re-board your coach and commence the approximately 30-minute drive back to the pier.

Please note: This tour involves a moderate amount of hiking, at times over uneven, natural, gravel, and slippery surfaces and inclines, with a few steps to negotiate to get on/off the bus and 89 steps at Twin Falls. This tour is recommended for active guests in good physical condition. This tour is not suitable for pregnant guests, guests with back and/or neck problems, guests with heart and/or respiratory conditions, guests with limited mobility, and guests who utilise a wheelchair. Guests are advised to wear lightweight, comfortable sportswear with flat, sturdy, and closed-toe walking or hiking shoes, and bring sun protection, a towel, and bottled water from the ship; guests opting to swim at the falls should wear a swimsuit under a cover-up. Guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian over 18 years old. Guests must be at least 18 years old to be served alcoholic beverages.
