Excursion Medoc wine road & margaux vineyard tour at Bordeaux

After departure the Pauillac pier, your guide will take you to the Margaux vineyards, southernmost part of the Médoc area, and starting point of the famous “Route des Châteaux”. The Medoc wine road, located between the Gironde estuary and the Landes forest, provides magnificent views of vine-covered gravelly rises as far as the eye can see. You will have the opportunity to stop at celebrated Château Margaux for a photo stop, before heading towards another Classified Wine Estate, where you will learn all about the wine making techniques, and taste three different wines from the estate, paired with bread and cheese.

Please note: This tour involves a moderate amount of walking for approximately 765 yards (about 700 metres), at times over uneven and natural surfaces, with a few steps to negotiate to get on/off the coach and at the wine chateau. This tour is not suitable for guests with limited mobility and guests who utilise a wheelchair. Guests are advised to wear lightweight, comfortable clothing with flat, closed-toe walking shoes, and bring sun protection, bottled water and Euros for purchases from the ship.
