Your first stop is at the Norfolk Botanical Garden, which encompasses approximately 155 acres (about 62.7-hectares) rich with some of the largest collections of azaleas, camellias, roses, and rhododendrons on the east coast. Enjoy a relaxing trackless train ride around the gardens and browse the Garden Gift Shop, which specializes in unique, garden-related items and rare gardening books.

Doumar's Ice Cream, Tour & Complimentary Waffle Cone with Ice Cream

Next, re-board your coach and head to Doumar's, home of the world's first ice cream cone machine. Abe Doumar created the first ice cream cone at the World's Fair of 1904 in St. Louis. It was so successful that he designed a four-iron waffle machine that he launched during the Jamestown Exposition of 1907. Today, the family business still bakes cones on the original cone machine. Whilst at Doumar's, learn about the history of the company and how the waffle cones are made, and enjoy a freshly-baked waffle cone with your choice of ice cream flavour. Following your visit, re-board your coach and commence the short drive back to the pier.
