Excursion Ocean kayaking tour at Rio de Janeiro

Explore the waters surrounding Rio on an ocean double-seat kayak, paddling the calm sea around the impressive granite rock of Sugar Loaf Mountain, all with the cityscape as background. Transfer 30 minutes to Urca beach, where after a safety briefing it is time to prepare for and board your kayaks.

Enjoy a two-hour paddle around Sugar Loaf Mountain before pausing for lunch. On the itinerary there is time to rest and swim before returning to Urca beach and driving back to the starting point.

Return to the ship.

Note

Please note: This excursion involves kayaking for around 2 hours in a tandem (double seat) kayak shared with fellow guests. Light clothing, sun protection, insect repellent, towel, swimsuit, beach sandals, snacks and backpack, and comfortable walking shoes are recommended. Extra change of dry clothes is recommended, as guests are likely to get wet on this excursion. Meals and drinks are not included on this tour. Swimming experience is required for the kayaking tour.
