This Silver Shore Overland Experience is a small group luxury tour, providing bespoke cultural and sightseeing experiences. We limit the tour to a small group to ensure your experience is a high-quality one. Spots are available on a first- come, first serve basis. If the program fills up, you'll be accommodated on a space-available basis. Advanced booking is required at least 90 days prior to sailing date via Silversea Reservations. We suggest booking early to secure your spot(s).

Please be advised that a minimum number of participants is required for this program to run as described. In rare cases when the minimum number of participants is not met, Silversea reserves the right to offer the program at an increased rate based on private arrangements or to cancel your specific departure for a refund. The self-cancellation fee, unless otherwise advised, is 90 days or sooner to the initial sailing date at the rate of 100% program fare per person. The payment for your Overland Experience is due in full on the same date as your final payment due for your cruise. Per Silversea's general payment terms, bookings made within 120 days of sailing require full payment within seven days of booking or sooner.

All Overland Experiences are non-transferable and non-refundable within 120 days of sailing, except for cancellation by Silversea. Our family-friendly land programs require adult accompaniment of any guest under the age of 18. All Overland Experiences are owned by independent contractors, and Silversea makes no representations and assumes no responsibility for the services provided by these operators. Silversea and our local operators make every effort to ensure your land program runs as described. The local currency is South African Rand; however, Euros and US dollars might be accepted by most vendors; local ATMs are available in some locations visited. (There is no shopping stop planned during the program).

Board your flight and/or coach for the transfer to Siviti Timbavati Plains Lodge, located in the heart of the Greater Kruger area.

Check-in at Siviti Lodge, Afternoon Tea and Safari Game Drive

Upon arrival at the lodge, enjoy a warm welcome and check into your luxurious suite. After a brief orientation and afternoon tea, depart in open-air 4WD safari vehicles for your first guided game drive in search of Africa’s Big Five, and many other species.

Sundowners in the Bush

As the sun dips below the horizon, stop at a scenic clearing in the bush for sundowners and light snacks—an iconic safari tradition that offers a peaceful moment to absorb the beauty of the African wilderness.

Return to the Lodge, Freshen Up and Dinner

Return to the lodge to freshen up before dinner.

Boma Dinner Under the Stars (weather permitting)

Enjoy a magical Boma dinner under the stars—an open-air, candlelit feast featuring local dishes, fine South African wines, and storytelling around the fire.

DAY TWO & THREE - Tuesday-Wednesday, April 28 & 29, 2026 - Siviti Timbavati Plains Lodge, Greater Kruger National Park

 

Take an early-morning game-drive in search of the Big Five, and an abundance of other wildlife

Following an early-morning wake-up call, tea and coffee are served. Afterward, meet your skilled ranger, then board your open-air, 4WD safari vehicles and depart for an early-morning game-drive. Along the way, your rangers search for awe-inspiring encounters with Africa's Big Five (lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos, and buffaloes), along with an abundance of other wildlife, mammal, and bird species.

Breakfast and time at your leisure

Following your game-drive, return to the Lodge for some free time to freshen up before breakfast. After breakfast, the remainder of the morning is at your leisure to relax and enjoy your surrounds.

Lunch, afternoon tea and an afternoon game-drive, the best time to observe wildlife activity

After lunch and some additional free time, gather for afternoon tea before departing in open-air, 4WD safari vehicles for an afternoon game-drive, the best time to see many of the animal species here at their most active. Following your game-drive, return to the Manor for some free time to freshen up before dinner.

Early-Morning Game Drive

Rise before dawn for your last guided game drive. The early hours are prime time for wildlife activity, offering chances to witness predator behavior, grazing herds, and rare birdlife.

Breakfast and Check-Out

After the drive, return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast before checking out.

Transfer Back to Port Elizabeth

Board your return transfer and rejoin the ship at the pier in Port Elizabeth.
