Today's adventure takes you to the city of Santiago de Compostela and its Cathedral is the final destination of the legendary pilgrimage of "Camino de Santiago" or Way of Saint James. It is one of three pilgrimages on which all sins could be forgiven; the others are the Via Francigena to Rome, and the pilgrimage to Jerusalem. Santiago is important because it is believed to be the burial site of the apostle, James the Great. Inscribed as a UNESCO a World Heritage Site in 1993, today it attracts more than just religious pilgrims thanks to its fantastic monuments and architecture.

As "any path to Santiago is a pilgrim's path," depart the pier in Coruna for the just over one hour journey to Santiago. Upon arrival to the cathedral, and after a comfort stop, begin your guided. Your guide will make us a full description of the Obradoiro Square where stands the Cathedral. the Townhall. The Pazo (Palace of Saint Jerome and the Hotel of the Reyes Catolicos. This last building built as a Hospital for pilgrims during the reign of the Catholic kings in the XV century, today is one of the most beautiful hotels in its class.

Now it's time to feel like a pilgrim, Though this is the part of the Way thought to be made after ending in Santiago; it's one of the most beautiful paths to walk. Other parts of the French Way takes you into Santiago along new roads and modern buildings but once you leave Santiago you can look back and if the weather is nice you will see the towers of the Cathedral.

Drive back to Coruña.
