• Explore the remarkable Grand Egyptian Museum and its extraordinary collection of antiquities that illuminate the achievements of one of history's greatest civilizations.

• Stand before the Great Pyramids and the Sphinx, enduring monuments that have defined Egypt's desert landscape for thousands of years.

Important Details

• This tour is non-refundable if cancelled within seven days of the ship's call in Alexandria and requires an extensive amount of walking over one mile (1.5 kilometres) with approximately 50 steps to climb at the museum.

• Walking in the pyramids area is uneven and sandy and includes cobbled surfaces, and therefore is not suitable for guests who utilise a wheelchair. This tour is suitable for guests with limited mobility; however access to the pyramids themselves is not possible and guests may remain on the coach if preferred. Guests must be able to get in and out of the vehicle independently or with the assistance of their travelling companion.

• Entry inside a pyramid is not included in the tour and requires an additional entrance fee. The pyramid interior visit is not recommended for guests who suffer from claustrophobia or have back, knee, or mobility problems. Access is through narrow, low, dimly lit passages, and visitors may need to stoop or bend while walking.

• Tour order and time spent at each venue may vary depending on traffic, security procedures, opening hours, and local operational conditions.

• Wear light, comfortable clothing and sturdy walking shoes with good grip. A hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen are strongly recommended due to the heat and sun exposure at the Giza Plateau.
