This iconic wine road, nestled between the Gironde estuary and the Landes Forest, offers breathtaking vistas of vine-covered hillsides stretching as far as the eye can see.

The Médoc vineyards are meticulously maintained, showcasing perfectly aligned rows of grapevines that reflect the region’s dedication to excellence. The illustrious châteaux here produce wines celebrated worldwide for their divine quality, including illustrious names such as Moulis, Listrac, Saint-Julien, Saint-Estèphe, Pauillac, and Margaux.

Today, you will stroll through the tranquil vineyards of the Margaux appellation, immersing yourself in the region’s serene beauty. Your walk will take you past some of the most prestigious wine estates, including the legendary Château Margaux, as well as Château Rauzan-Ségla (owned by Chanel), Château Rauzan-Gassies, and Château Palmer.

Along the way, you will pause at Château Marquis de Terme for a delightful gourmet break, sampling delicious local sweets and enjoying the relaxed ambiance. After this memorable tasting experience, you will return to your vehicle and gently make your way back to the ship, carrying with you the essence of Bordeaux’s exquisite wine heritage.

Please note: This tour involves a moderate amount of walking at times over uneven and natural surfaces, with a few steps to negotiate to get on/off the coach and at the wine chateau. This tour is not suitable for guests with limited mobility and guests who utilise a wheelchair.
