Depart the ship via tender-boat for the short transfer to the jetty. Upon arrival at the jetty, embark your speedboat for the short ride to the Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa. The resort’s stunning, northern Male atoll in the Maldives is surrounded by a shimmering blue lagoon, white-sand beaches, and swaying palms. This idyllic, tropical getaway is nestled amidst lush, tropical gardens, native flora, and exquisite, white-sand beaches gently lapped by the turquoise-blue waters of the Indian Ocean. As the gateway to the South Atolls, this island is also home to its own exotic reef teeming with vibrant, aquatic flora and fauna.

Upon arrival at the Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa, disembark your boat and enjoy a welcome drink, delicious buffet lunch of local specialities, and approximately five hours of leisure time at the resort. During your visit, you can relax, unwind, and soak up the tropical sun, stroll the white-sand beaches, and take a refreshing dip in the inviting swimming pool or Indian Ocean.

The resort also offers a wide array of desirable optional amenities. Included are holistic treatments such as aromatherapy, ayurvedic massage, and more at the Sheraton’s Shine Spa, a beautiful tennis court, and big-game fishing, jet-skiing, and other water sports.  You may also opt to take a guided snorkelling session at the resort’s spectacular coral reef, which abounds with colourful tropical fish and marine life, including sea turtles and rays. At the conclusion of your visit, embark the speedboat for the approximately 30-minute ride directly back to the ship.

Please note: This tour involves a moderate amount of walking, with a few steps to negotiate to embark/disembark the ship’s tender and speedboat, and two-three steps to manoeuvre in/out of the boat. Walking at the resort and beach is at the discretion of each guest. This tour is recommended for guests who are in good physical condition and can swim in water too deep to stand. This tour is not suitable for pregnant guests, guest with neck and/or back problems, guests with heart and/or respiratory conditions, guests prone to seasickness, guests with limited mobility, and guests who utilise a wheelchair. Guests with extreme allergies are advised to bring a boxed lunch from the ship.

Guests are advised to wear a swimsuit under a cover-up with beach or water shoes, and bring sun protection, a towel, change of clothing, bottled water, and local currency or credit cards for purchases from the resort. Guests must be at least five years old to participate on this tour; minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian over 18 years old to participate on this tour. Snorkelling equipment is provided; guests may bring their own snorkelling equipment. There (are/are no) changing facilities on board the boat. Waterproof cameras are highly recommended. Although frequently encountered on this type of tour, fish and marine life sightings are not guaranteed. Guests must be at least 18 years old to be served alcoholic beverages. Guests may not snorkel if they have consumed alcohol. A welcome drink and buffet lunch are included; additional food and beverages are available at each guest’s own expense.
