Discover the best of Halifax on this delightful excursion aboard your motor coach, joined by a knowledgeable guide on this snapshot-focused excursion. Departing the pier, drive first to Citadel Hill for a photo stop, followed by a walk through the lovely Public Gardens.


Drive one hour to Peggy's Cove and take some time quaint shops and view the most famous lighthouse in all of Canada. Then drive to the Fairview Lawn Cemetery to the gravesites for the victims of the historic sunken ship, the Titanic.


Drive to nearby Historic Properties, located in the heart of downtown Halifax. Historic Properties began life as a hub for sea-centered commerce, with buildings constructed for daring sea captains and shrewd merchants. In the 1960s, the area was slated for "urban renewal," but thankfully some concerned citizens pressed instead for restoration. What you see today is a window onto a time gone by, with the old wharves and warehouses now serving as home to shops, restaurants and offices.

Please note: There is minimal, mostly optional walking involved on this trip, with a mix of even, uneven, grassy and gravel ground, making portions of this tour less suitable for those with walking difficulties. Guests must be able to board the coach on their own. Casual clothes and comfortable walking shoes are recommended, as well as a light jacket, umbrella or sunhat, depending on the weather of the day.
