Excursion Whale and dolphin adventure sightings tour at Roseau

Depart the pier with a short walk to your awaiting vessel. Upon arrival, receive safety instructions and an overview of the tour before heading out into the open waters.

Search For Marine Mammals

Explore the Caribbean waters surrounding Dominica, home to more than half of the 30+ whale and dolphin species found in the region. The captain will pause every three miles (about 4.8 km) or roughly every 15 minutes to deploy a hydrophone, listening for the 'clicking' sounds of sperm whales and the 'whistling' of dolphins.

Wildlife Observation & Education

During these stops, enjoy distant island views while your onboard guide shares fascinating information about the whales, dolphins, and marine life you may encounter. If a pod or spout is sighted or detected, the captain will maneuver the vessel for optimal viewing.

Conservation & Welfare

The excursion strictly follows guidelines established by the International Fund for Animal Welfare to ensure the well-being of the animals. Respectful viewing is prioritized throughout the experience.
